Dr. James McClellan is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and completed his medical school and training at St. Louis University School of Medicine Hospitals. He has been practicing medicine in Traverse City since 1999 and is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. McClellan maintains privileges at Munson Medical Center, Otsego Memorial Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Grayling.

Dr. McClellan specializes in a variety of disorders involving the immune system including various types of allergies, chronic sinus disease, hives and particularly, immunologic deficiencies. He cares for both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. McClellan works closely with his patients, their families and their primary care physicians to design specific treatment regimens that will meet their individual needs.

Dr. McClellan moved to Traverse City in 1999 with his wife, Jennifer. They both enjoy an active lifestyle and stay busy with their two children. They are also both committed to involvement in the community and in local organizations.
